"df_descr": "The network of lines on this dial does not seem to be integrally related to the shape of the shadow-receiving surface. The surface itself is a flattened segment of a sphere, oblique and horizontal sections being circles of radius from the gnomon hole to the lower edge of this surface. Three engraved day curves cross these hour lines. The day curves are equidistant from the lower edge of the flattened segment. ",
