Its lower part is flanked by two ‘legs’: the upper part is decorated by two distinct and naturalistic lion heads, the lower part by clawless, four-toed feet. The shape is taken up again in the lower base part. Gibbs: Traces of iron and lead remain in the gnomon hole. [...] Traces of bored holes in the eyes and mouth can be seen in the lion heads on four-toed paws which flank the base.",

"df_descr": "Of eleven hour lines, only the third, sixth and ninth continue beyond the summer solstice to the lower edge of the shadow-receiving surface. Three engraved day curves, always equidistant from each other, are visible. The day curves are not always equidistant from the oblique front edge. A chord from the top of the dial to the lowest point of the meridian has a sagitta of 10 mm at the equinox. The equinox curve is composed of arcs of the following lengths: 40.5, 58.5, 58, 51.5, 61.5, 59, 53, 55, 56, 54.5, 58, 62 mm. The summer solstice curve is made up of arcs of the following lengths from the second to the tenth hour line: 73, 73, 77, 73, 72, 72, 72, 75 mm.",
