    "df_descr": "It shows the eleven hour lines, the equinox and the two solstitial curves, all quite irregular. The solstitial curves are almost equidistant from the equinox line, as theory requires, 18 namely 245mm and 250mm. The diameter of the equinoctial circle is therefore 451mm. Applying commonly used methods of calculation, we find that the intended latitude is 40.5°, to be compared with the 40.8° of Torre Annunziata. We conclude that the spherical sundial from Villa B of Oplontis is of good accuracy.",
