    "df_descr": "Gibbs: None of the eleven hour lines continue beyond either solstice. The equinox is always equidistant from the solstice curves and from the lower edge of the shadow-receiving surface. Severino: Il Dr. Peppino Cesarano, funzionario della Soprintendenza di Pompei, e' andato ad indagare per nostro conto ad Ercolano sull'esistenza di queste meridiane. Ha trovato, infatti, la meridiana di cui sopra che, per quanto concerne la descrizione della conca sferica e delle linee orarie si trova in accordo con la scheda n° 1031G di Gibbs che pero' la colloca nella \"Casa dell'Atrio a Mosaico\", mentre questa ha provenienza sconosciuta e le misure non concordano con quelle di Gibbs. Una discrepanza difficilmente risolvibile. In accordo con la scheda Gibbs, la meridiana presenta tracce di nove linee orarie con il particolare non molto comune che tutte si prolungano oltre la curva del solstizio invernale fino alla base dove era collocato lo gnomone. Purtroppo la Gibbs nulla dice per quanto riguarda la forma del reperto oltre al fatto che rileva essere in marmo bianco, mentre questa è in tufo.",
