Abstract

Seven gnomon holes are visible in the top of the dial block. One is on the north-south axis near the north face. Two groups of three are positioned symmetrically above the east and west faces. Four shadow-receiving surfaces have been carved in this block: a south-facing conical surface, a north-facing conical surface, a west-facing quarter sphere, and an east-facing quarter sphere.
