Abstract

The core of the gnomon hole, containing no metal, is visible in the center of a large circular scarred area along the meridian above the summer solstice. This dial has been carved on the horizontal section of a column 43 cm in diameter. The grid of lines includes eleven hour lines and three day curves. The points of intersection of hour lines and solstices are marked by dots. The meridian extends beyond winter and summer solstices to the edges of the section.
