Abstract

The base of a bronze gnomon, 12 mm wide, remains in a lead-filled hole. Two round holes at the left side of the dial block may have served for mounting. Meridian and equinox divide the shadow-receiving surface into four rectangles. The grid of eleven hour lines and three day curves may have been determind by the dots which mark the junctions of hour lines and solstices.
