Abstract

A gnomon hole is preserved in the top surface of the dial above the meridian. The first and second of eleven hour lines are broken away on this beautifully made dial. The two solstices limit the length of the remaining hour lines. Both solstices are parallel to the equinox and the lower edge. A half-cylinder molding decorates the base.
