Abstract

The gnomon hole in the top surface (23 mm long and 15 mm wide) still contains a trace of lead. Eleven finely engraved hour lines extend from the winter solstice across the equinox and the summer solstice to the lower edge. Slightly stylized three-toed feet with claws decorate base. The day curves are identified with a Greek inscription.
