Abstract

A depression 146 mm wide and 25.5 mm deep has been cut into the top surface of this dial. In the center of this depression, a rounded groove 60 mm long and 28 mm wide leads from the back of the dial to the front edge above the meridian. The meridian extends from the gnomon groove to the front lower edge. The other ten hour lines extend from the winter solstice across the equinox to the lower edge. Four-toed lion paws flank the base. A cylindrical mount hole (30 mm in diameter and 54 mm deep) pierces the bottom surface, and a clamp hole and groove mark the left side.
