Abstract

A wide rounded depression has been cut lengthwise in the top surface, destroying all but a trace of the gnomon hole. The depression in the top surface has destroyed parts of day curves and hour lines, but three of the former and eleven of the latter are visible. The length of the hour lines is limited by the solstice curves. A figure in high relief in the pose of the Farnese Atlas supports the dial surface. A low relief on the sides at the top depicts stems and tendrils sprouting from a bunch of leaves and eyelet petals. A wide lip follows the front curve.

Measurements

This object has not been measured by the 3D pipeline. Its entry in the catalogue rests on the published description only; no surface fit, latitude or line detection exists for it.
