Abstract

Gibbs: The gnomon hole in the top of this dial is rectangular (38 mm x 18 mm), 33.5 mm deep, and free of any trace metal. The general shape of the dial is distinguished from that of the majority of ancient sundials by rounded sides which rise out of a square mount hole in the bottom of the base.
