"obj_descr": "Gibbs: Traces of a gnomon hole 50 mm x 55 mm remain in the top surface to a depth of 40 mm. Its monumental size distinguishes this dial from others of similar shape (rounded sides rising from a plinth base) found on the islands of Rhodes and Kos. The mount hole in the bottom center (45 mm x 50 mm, 55 mm deep) contains a trace of lead. ",

"df_descr": " The dial surface is broken away to the left of the meridian so that only six hour lines are preserved, none continuing beyond winter or summer solstice. The usual three day curves are parallel to each other and the lower edge. Four small holes have been drilled into the shadow-receiving surface: one at the juncture of meridian and equinox, one along the equinox 96 mm from the meridian, and one along the summer solstice 163 mm from the meridian.",
