Abstract

The upper part of the sundial is very damaged. The front part is rather large in comparison to the lower part, the horizontal dividing line decorated with two symmetrical, duckpin-shaped objects meeting in the middle and ending in a narrow cylinder on the outer edge. There is no real base; this part of the sundial rejuvenates in a right angle and is smaller than the lowermost area of the lower part. Gibbs: Seen in the Villa Borgis, Velletri, Italy, in 1798.
