Abstract

Gibbs: The top has been sheared off this unique dial. Nine hour lines extend from the sheared top to the damaged lower edge. The cylindrical back looks like part of a column without flutes. Lion legs and feet flank the dial surface. A hole 24 mm in diameter intersects the meridian near the lower edge and penetrates through to the bottom.
